You guys surviving the heat wave? First Be and Giggles had it in CA, then they brought it home.
I went to the grocery store today, and walking out to the car was brutal. Way to freaking hot. And tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.
yuck!

and syxx, frek, mistress and whomever else I'm forgetting on the east coast as well.
i'm in indiana, and i don't know if we have a heat wave, but i do know that it forced me to use the a/c in my car for the first time this summer.
today the heat index was 105. i felt very dizzy earlier today...cured by water consumption. but i have to be careful i have low blood pressure.
My air conditioner broke yesterday.
My boyfriend spends 10 hours a day, 6 days a week working in the sun in Key Largo, building a new road. Gatorade helps. Good sex helps too.
We'll both be dead by the end of the week.
the one plus of my job is it is well air conditioned....Quote:

I'm not leaving the house. I've spent yesterday, today, and it looks like tomorrow sitting in front of my ac working.
I've never been happier to live in Newfoundland. Half the time I still have to wear a light jacket when I go out. :)
I went out to play hoops in 92 degrees. Ahh, that's living!!
Theres A Outside???????
Its a balmy 90 degrees out here in Georgia... i spend most of my time inside as well, and i too have been forced to use the A/C in my car.. weird thing is... now i'm getting like 50 more miles to the tank... yay for air conditioning:clap:
Hey! I had a question about that: I heard a rumor that Newfoundland is actually warmer in the winter than much of the American Northeast. Is this true?Quote:

Me personally, i like the heat and the cold, never been around snow though,
2-5 inches max around these parts.. not enough to make much of a snow man..
I grew up in Florida, so i am use to the heat... as long as there is some shade i am "cool"
So YOU say! Give me the heat any day!Quote:

But it's really f'en hot this year! The other day, I burned the back of my thigh really badly on a nickel I'd left on the front seat of my car. I had a nice little round burn there for a day or two.
same thing happened to be, but it was a penny, and it burned the back of my leg... i thought something stung me!!
You don't live in the deep south!!!! Actually it's more the humidity that makes you want to kill yourself than the sheer heat.Quote:

I can't believe it's only around 100 around these parts... but that's the norm around this time of year in the Great State ofTexas!!
