This whole thing is simply really funny, unless your involved, then it sucks!(or if you feel pity for anyone involved then it sucks too)
Funny to me - ha ha - MJ must have lost it some time between his beatings and fantacising about the fantasy worlds that exist in his mind 24-7? Not sure at what point, but loving children a lot doesn't involve loving them in adult ways, as he seems to assume?
It was interesting, not that I watched this crap on tv today, but I was flipping through the channels and I saw the definition of what psychologists say pedophelia is, they said 'its when you like someone under 13 years of age that is prepubescent.' And You have to be over the age of 16, or less than 5 years removed from that individuals age. I found that to be kinda interesting, that they classified it that way :donno: . Anyways... sucks to be kids when the greatest musician of our time is around them...
You've got to be kidding... :poke:Quote:
the greatest musician of our time
of course he isnt even the greatest dancer of our time....hell i believe JC holds that title..MADDANCER....
Coz if you dont think so then maybe you need to be reminded of the "World" Record he broke in music. The best of the best in musical entertainment. If you dont break a world record. You aint nothin.
------now I will be ready for retaliation by coz and his "peter" rider syxx----------
""I dont care what anyone ays coz is da man!!!!!!""
WO ho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
always remember if its a number one it cant be very good...ays?
p.s. the eagles 1971-1975 has now officially sold more copies than thriller :flipoff:
I think he's just a very loving, giving man who is being taken advantage of. So, for him to continue being a giver to all different kinds of children w/o fear of what other treachery may await him speaks volumes.
:donno:
maybe I'm naive or too hopeful, but that's how I feel.

So Elizabeth...would you let YOUR little boy spend the night in bed with Michael? Hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm???
I was just saying that MJ is the man, in music. He's not my favorite, not close, but his success and legacy(keeping extra-curricular activities out of mind - OJesque in a way :donno: ) are in some ways unattainable for everyone else...
That being said, he's sick in the head. I was with Elizabeth until this week, my naievity has stopped - he has no idea what is as what is not acceptable in society(which you could see in that interview earlier this year, but I thought he had maybe learned a lesson or two). He has a disregaurd for what we do and do not allow. I think that its that simple, and thats why it is sad.
I have been a huge MJ fan for most of my life, and until a court of law finds him guilty, I will continue to support Michael Jackson.
Well Coz, it depends. If I got to know Michael personally and I loved and trusted him as a friend, then I would have no problems with my son sleeping over. It would have to be a lot of trust, though. But that's with anybody, not just Michael Jackson.
I think it's silly that we suggest that adults and children can't sleep in the same bed together. I plan on sleeping and even bathing with my children, and if I were that closely bonded to someone else's children that should be a healthy and normal act, too.
I'm with Brandon on this one. :poke:
Elizabeth
well this is my opinion FWI.....I fault the parents in this also, because common sense tells me that not only should I protect my children, but for the benefit of that individual (acknowledgiing the fact that the same circumstances had occured). Its about protection both ways. Because if I personally were invited with my sons to MJs place, I wouldnt give even a moment alone do to the history of the situation. This does not imply guilt on him, but come on people..use your freaking head. I dont even care if he didnt do anything, its the notion of it. End of rant...
i hope he's innocent.....
Elizabeth, you would take a bath with your 12 or 13 year old son? :poke:
I'd really like to hear what your reasons would be for doing this. Also, why would you sleep with children of this age, even if they were yours? I could see if they were younger, but at that age? If you sent your 12 yr old son over to your absolute closest friend in the world's house, and he reports to you later that he slept in bed with that friend...FOR WHATEVER REASON...if that doesn't alarm you I would really like to know why.
FWIW, I firmly believe that there comes an age...usually about 9 or 10, where it starts to become unhealthy for a child to sleep in the same bed even with their own parents.
Now of course, in cases where the family is too poor to avoid the situation I can see some concessions being made...my wife slept with her little sister up until we were married...but a 13 year old boy who sleeps in the same bed with his parents is going to have issues...this I can guarantee!
A 13 year old boy who sleeps in the same bed with the very wierd and eccentric entertainer with the surgically destroyed face and the overzealous obsession with children...has at least 1 parent or guardian who needs to be HORSEWHIPPED!!! :slap:
BTW, my half sister slept in the same bed with her mother into her 20s...and as far as I'm concerned it FUKKED HER UP!!!

hahaha, i think that was my favorite part of this thread.
hes gonna have a new duet with rkelly called "the kid is mine"
The funnies can't stop on this thread, but then again its only cause this is so sad overall :donno:

I gotta go with Be on this one. I'm not a huge MJ fan, but you just gotta hope that someone is trying to pimp him for money here. Then again, he hasn't made terribly good decisions in the past, so...
Gotta go with coz on this one as well, although at a much younger age. I don't beleive it's healthy for the *parents* to have their children in bed with them at any age unless it is absolutely unavoidable. It becomes habit forming for the child. I've seen it happen with my wife's sisters kids. They would encourage them to come sleep with them in their bed when they were young (we're talking really young here as in less than two years) and now they can't get rid of them. They wake up in the middle of the night and crawl into the parents bed. So when you roll over to give your significant other a hug, or something, all of a sudden you have this impediment in the middle. Now that has to suck.Quote:

Kids have their own bed, parent's have their own bed. That's the way it should be. There's no way (I *really* hope) that you would start getting it on with your significant other if your five year old kid was in the room with you, right? Talk about scarring for life!!
'Nuf said.
Well... I think that if I had a 12 or 13 yr old son, we would probably bathe separately. I wouldn't want him to get any confused feelings or anything.
But, the bed thing is different. Just because you sleep in the same bed as someone doesn't mean anything is going on. I could sleep in the same bed as a girl friend of mine, or a sister, cousin, child, etc. It's like camping, or a sleepover. I don't really see any problems if it is just sleeping and not anything sexual.
And yeah, there is no way I'd be having sex with my child present either. So no worries there.
