I think that is part of the equation which I have conveniently placed below.

ADD ALL APLICABLE NUMBERS
1(does the person think that they are wiser than anyone else that is their age) + 2(do they say that out loud or on the internet) + 3(is there a 50+ year gap in the age that they say their wiseness is minus their actual age) = your numerical answer

if your answer is equal to or less than 1 then you more than likely are wiser than your age.

if your answer is 3 then you probably are not wiser than you thing you are.

if your answer is 6 then you can not be wiser than you think you are.

now, wise is different than smartness, thoughtfulness and the age of your soul... but that is a whole new story.

PS, I am a 3 on the scale, lol

Judging by Thanksgiving at my house I would say that chances of success appear to be quite slim. :D
