I didn't see a Bush allegory at all in Tim Robbins' character.

hmmm..................:)

the biggest one for me was when tim robbins says something like, "occupations always fail," and more importantly, the look on his face when he says it...

but there are a handful of other references/correllations between the movie and the "war" that seem to be less than unintentional.

I think there would have been a solid correlation to our war if the aliens realized that they were attacking the wrong planet, but wouldn't admit it...;)
