Yep, that was crazy old Vaughn. :)
genius of love rawks
I can't stand the Genius of Love song... played out to the xtreme. I have to change the station if I hear it on the radio. :ugh: :barfkiss:
luckily i don't listen to the radio. yes, genius of love, is the shit in clubs. specifically the 12" version.
p.s. hiero that tom's diner album isn't really a remix album. it has one of the dna mixes that were all over the radio back then, and then it's a bunch of cover versions or parodys done by other people, or things that are somehow related to it. it also has the excellent dna mix of vega's "rusted pipe".
it's a neat album tho.
damn...i'm sorry you feel that way chris...because you are depriving yourself of some great vibration...
i know they play it alot...but there's a reason for that....i mean ..i feel the same way about heartbeat...and good times...but when i hear em...i force myself to listen...they deserve at least that much respect from me..in my opinion..
i mean shit...people used to say that about set adrift...some people still feel that way...
but yeah...i feel like it's one of the greatest songs of all time...like billie jean and kiss
my two cents
b.
Damm...y'all be keepin me feelin old.
Genius Of Love, Heartbeat, Good Times, Billie Jean and Kiss all rolled up together couldn't even sniff the drawers of about 100 '70s songs that I can think of. :fawkdance: :wiggle:
start a 70s post coz..i like all that 70s kool jazz and funk! definitely sum bootsy..
Yeah, those two are definitely a couple of my favorites too. I just can't listen to the Genius of Love any more. Here's me at a club when I hear that song ----> :squintdance:Quote:

c'mon elizabeth, Billy Jean rocks hard. I love that song, what a song. I am not so sure of kiss though, hmmm. It seems like we all like 1 or the other of these 2 songs...xcept for be
I like Billie Jean...I like Genius Of Love and Heartbeat even more, and Good Times is a classic! Still all together they aren't worth 1 beat of Love Is The Message...
And Kiss SUCKED!!! :wiggle:
hmm i like billie jean too.
i'm with liz & Coz unfortunatly i'm just not a Kiss fan.
Prince is good, Liz did you know he's about to put something new out?? I saw he preformed at one of the awards & was suppose to be on Leno last night.
prince was dope on leno.. musicology :dancingcool:
Ummm...I believe that we were all referring to Prince's song "Kiss". :ughdance:

I can't BE-LIIIIEEEVE anyone could not like that song. The beat and Prince's voice are too cool. He's got such a feisty attitude. :)
