Okay, seriously.
Ben (7), getting his climb on.
Lexi (5), after a Libby-Lu party.
My children, age 5:
A viscious debate concerning Said's "Orientalism" left everyone a bit miffed:

In the meantime, Tibbald has decided he wants to go to school:

While Maggie concerns herself with reaching enlightenment;

My 2 sons, BJ (left) 23 and Matt (right) 17.
Byron, turned 2 in January... (in blue shirt)
Raeh, turns 9 in June (pronounced "Ra-ree") (behind candles)
Cylem, turns 7 in July (pronounced "ky-lem") (in patterned jumper)
:)
Wow - A.Dulteror, I love your kids names! How did you pick them?
Byron is a reasonably common name, means cow shed! :D His full name is Byron Andrew Livingstone, which we thought sounded strong and regal...
Raeh and Cylem are from a previous relationship, and they live far away from me, so I only see them about twice a year... but back to the names...
Raeh was chosen by playing with "strong" words. "Heart" was one, and if you reverse it and drop the "t", there ya go! Commonly gets called Rori or Ray.
Cylem is a variation on Kaylen or Kaylem which my ex and I heard on TV one day and played around with the name... Some poeple say it "sy-lem" :(
I've never heard of any other kids called Raeh or Cylem before...
Oh my god, all your children are beautiful.
resemblence!! Ian and Coz ,your boys.. its easy to see..
look at matts picture parallel to coz avatar LOL
Aw shucks...
Cozmo, your younger son looks alot like you in your avatar pic...
Yeah, my boys suffered from my strong genes - except Cylem looks alot like my ex-wife - I try hard not to hold it against him :D
Mine aren't really mine...they resemble me in their hearts, but not their appearance.
All of you have beautiful kids! That was a cool look. :)
Angel Rafael, 10
Zachariah Basilio, 6
Jahmel Blue, almost 15 (This pic's about 2 years old)
.
One more:
Elijah Sebastian, 3 (he's got boogers, he was crying at the park)
Wow!
Zachariah looks like a spitting image of one of my friend's kids... what nationality(s) are your kids?
Friend's son is Indian... always found it interesting that different nationalities can produce similar looking kids... I've seen it quite a bit in Melbourne, Australia. There is a very diverse collection of cultures there, and mixed relationships produce some VERY cute kids.
BTW - Are we gonna see some pics from Doc G in this thread? I'm sure with the love he spreads, he'd have kids in every state! :D
Wendy - you have 4 kids?! I thought you only had one!
Wow Wendy, look at your boys! Very nice.
Yeah, who's kids are those Wendy?
thought i would give you a few...:)
1. Boys at the farm visiting uncle.
2. How we pray before dinner.
3. Bryces science fair project.
Here are Madison (3) and Emily (5 1/2) in their Easter dresses...
I was wondering that myself. I was thinking maybe it's a regional dialect thing? Like sometimes British people and Australians put Rs in places after vowels where there aren't any....
kinda like how I said "idear" when I was little, instead of "idea"?
Well anyway, that was my only guess.
Nah, it's the opposite of a silent letter - saying one that's not there!!
We thought rareh looked crap written down, that's all. Raeh looked better...
Unfortunately, they suffer for it... misspelling... mispronunciation... conclusions of misguided parents :)
They'll thank you for it when they're older. I hated my name as a kid, wished it was more normal. By high school, I realized I was like Cher, or Oprah -- if anyone was talking about "Mariah" it was obviously about me.
Until that slut Mariah Carey came on the scene. Bitch.
People always call Jahmel "Jamal". Do they not see the E?
Hey, Mariah Carey is not a slut!
Chief, you are the man! That was some funny shit! :atya:
