Interview with baby blak?
For your own upcoming solo album, is there a single producer you are working with, or are you enlisting the help of a bunch of various cats?
No single producers at all. I need various styles to fit my LP. An album is a collage of different flavors. One cat couldn't cut it. I got DJ Revolution, Joey Chavez, Evidence from Dialated Peoples, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Jay Ski, DJ Kwestion, Sat One, Newcleus, and Kevin Brown, P Smoovah and Ken Wood from A Touch of Jazz. Just to incorporate a new sound. I don't want my shit sounding like everyone else's project, na'meene?

Anybody who says that they're working with Newcleus for production obviously aint working with me. Sounds like this cat...oh, waitaminnit, I think I know who that is. Get me some info please Tim, I think I now that cat by a different name...we were supposed to do some shit but he never came through, if it's who I'm thinking of.

You know sumthin? I now remember that I downloaded that version of Jam On It, I had forgotten all about it. I never had seen the label copy until now though. Guess I'll have to pay the assholes over at EMI (who own my publishing) a vist and get their lazy asses on the ball.
