I remember him when I was a little guy. He had a style of delivery that comforted and inspired confidence. The anchors of today seem to be detached in comparison.Quote:

He was comforting background noise to me when I was a kid. Nobody argued or hassled me when he was on. They were preoccupied with his reports and they left me alone. (my parents, I mean)
