how Paint gets discontinued

ok, mind this is just a rant but had to put it out there. we recently started painting our bedroom. it was called Confederate Gray and it was so dulling. My man told me i could repaint at any time with any colors I wanted. I love blue and yellows. I was dying to do something brighting. missing home and the holidays were a little overwhelming. so, anyway, we picked out a midnight blue but little brighter, and a bright yellow. so we did one wall blue, plenty left.

Second we started to cover the confederate gray/blue color. well of course no one wants to listen when i said we needed a primer to help us put on the yellow. we got two walls done but needs a few more coats on two, and haven't done the last wall. well of couse we run out. we just got the yellow 3 days ago. we braved this crappy weather to head back to Home Depo (which here in nova Scotia is "new") in three days they have discontinued the particular brand and style we were using. No, not any of the other styles this brand makes, JUST the one we bought. and with coats of paint already on the wall and no intention of changing it they tell us this tonight. so in 3 days they have sold out of this particular type of paint and the other store in our city Halifax, none to be found. so we stepped up to a better brand and same paint so here's to crossed fingers its the same tint once we get it on and we can finish our room........

by showing up on Cozs steps....

Chief, we all know that paint has *never* shown up on Coz's steps...

now how is this....i post and every will look at them but almost no one replies, like i'm hearing crickets standing on the stage, i'm not feeling the love!

Unfortunately, a lot of times that's just how it works around here. There are weeks on end where no one really says anything, then you get chief and myself to make snide remarks.

Sounds like they knew something was going out of stock permanently and they stuck you with it... Personally, I stick to the Behr brand of paint at HD - and Kilz primer always...

well we are day 4 into painting, day like 7 of days trying toget it done. we are getting it done but still have at least one coat left to do to finish most of the yellow walls. thanksfully. its just so bloodly cold and not home *sniff sniff* just can't seem to get it all done in the span of the days.

If I'm right his Parademons should arrive to your city shortly to dissipate the Home Depot for not having the colors you need, as well as those who refused to listen to you about the primer. And because they have a lot of time on their hands, there might be a chance they every man woman and child in Halifax may be taken hostage and forced to serve under Darkseid's allegiance.
