Very sad... I really liked watching him. He did many good things in the name of conservation for Australia. He has also brought the world of animals a little closer to a younger generation with his own shows and even his appearances on shows like the Wiggles.

Sad - he leaves behind a wife, an 8 year old daughter (I have seen her in some shows), and a 3 year old son...

Steve was a crazy, nutty character that really cared about wildlife. He'll be missed.

He tempted fate so many times...it finally caught up with him. :(
