When I think of the "Golden Age of Hip-Hop", XClan is one of the groups I think about. Even though I didn't particularly agree with their politics, I thought they had a thought-provoking message, wrapped around some great sounds. I read the Wiki link, and found out that they were about to release a comeback album, so it's extra sad that the Professor is gone.

Yeah, I read X-Clan were having a comeback album. I guess I'll have to google this and figure out what happened to him.

The report said it was meningitis.

Man more legends gone to that great stage in the sky. I was a huge X-Clan fan around the same time PM Dawn was hitting. He and Sugar Shaft will be missed. I never realized that Pro X was Sonny Carson's son.
