I know at the radio station we pay services like ASCAP and BMI and they pay the artists on how many times we play the record. My question is when a record gets spun about how much $ does an artist get per spin. Kind of a dumb question because I don't know if it can even be broken down like that.

I'm not posting this to make anybody feel bad, but I was just wanted to share what happened on my birhtday. Without me knowing about it my girlfriend called up all my friends and relatives and asked them to donate whatever they wanted toward my birthday present. I ended up getting $775!!! :shock:...

any way i can check if my broadband speed is being capped.. its supposed to be 256kbps but sometimes seems to stop at around 6k a second for no apparent reason.. how can i check?
