What's in a name?

...that which we call a band...by any other name, would rock so hard?

So a friend of mine and I are doing some side gigs acoustically, and thought it be wise to come up with a unified band name (he's got his own band, Litmus Vinyl, and mine's Wasted Talent).

Its up to YOU to decide our fate. After toiling many hours over a random band name generator, and fighting to the death for what we believe, Seamus and I have agreed on two names that could fit us accordingly, but we can't decide. So we leave it up to you. The fans, friends, family....the people. We live in a nation of democracy, go to http://www.niceapron.com/, and vote for your choice for Seamus and Brian band name, 2007. Will it be: Sideshow Mob, or Simple Emergency.

Sideshow Mob makes me think of the snooty Simpson's character "Sideshow Bob," and Simple Emergency sounds like an acne medication:

Teenybopper: "Oh my God! Tonight's the prom and I have the hugest zit on my forehead! Whatever will I do?"

Voiceover: "Pimple emergency? Then get Simple Emergency! In one easy application, you can reduce the size of your zits by nearly 40%!"

Anyway, I like Simple Emergency more even though now I'm always going to see it as a pimple emergency commercial. Sideshow Mob sounds a little too much like Sideshow Bob.

Or maybe it's a mix between Sideshow Bob and Goodie Mob...hmm..
