This is a disaster. But a disaster that is SO BAD in SO MANY WAYS that it is actually necessary that you watch. This should be required watching to avoid future musical and video disastors -- kind of like watching Holocaust videos to make sure that doesn't happen again!
And trust me -- the beginning is not even 5% as bad as the rest, so hang on with me here ... don't prematurely close it ... trust me:

I actually think he's big in Germany from a musical perspective. But this ... this "video" is pure evil. I believe there are some suicidal subliminal messages in there, too. Maybe this is like "The Ring" -- and we're all going to die in a set amount of days.
omgosh.. is that video for real????
and people watch this, and like it.. i am not one to judge quality here.. but that was total poo....
i am angry and hurt, and sad all at the same time... i am suprised there was no slow motion running on the video...
and the two little girls? what was with that?

There are many unanswered questions -- and I intend to dedicate my life to unravelling this disturbing, sad puzzle. I'm taking one for the team here ... but my life work is to analyze the hell out of this so it NEVER happens again.

I was only able to watch for 5 seconds before the shooting eye pain began. Then my ears began to bleed and I fell to my death.

I haven't looked at it but David Hasselhorf has been a huge recording artist in Europe for some time, so I don't know why anybody would assume it's not him.

Haha, because on the side it said "By nictum" and I thought that was the name of the singer, not the user name of the person who posted it

What can I say, I actually like the song (LOVED the original by B.J. Thomas and even liked the Blue Swede cover). The video was intentionally stupid and funny, much easier to sit through than most of the shit I see on MTV. And Hasselhoff can actually sing. :idunno:
Just chalk it up to being 46 I guess. There's a whole lot of flotsam from the '90s that you guys like that I actually find hideous! :haha:

Right ... just like Baywatch was meant to be that crappy, as a joke of course.
And the movie currently in pre-production, "Knight Rider" will (I'm going out on a limb here) mean to be that crappy.
All of Hass's projects for that matter, I guess. So he's not a joke, as much as an ironic genius! :)

Didn't watch Baywatch, and I stopped watching Kinght Rider before it was done, but neither show was considered crappy when they were on. In fact, Knight Rider was considered pretty damm cool. I guess you thought that Battlestar Galactica was crappy too. :idunno:
This video is definitely trying to be funny. Whether it succeeds or not is a matter of taste. Personally, I didn't find it very funny, except for the fish head dude, but it did keep my attention by getting me to wait for what they were gonna show next. Today's songs and videos often have me diving for the remote.
BTW, we do realize that this thing is like 7 years old, right?:haha:

Well, I totally agree about today's music videos. They're all the same -- a party. That's it. What happened to the reign of conceptualized videos that was happening in the late 90's? REM's "Losing my Religion"; Madonna had a few beautiful ones; Guns n' roses told an entire story...I feel the list goes on and on. Now, every video looks exactly the same, and none of them are worth watching.
Or maybe I'm getting old, and this is a "back in my day post"...:idunno:

That's why I didn't mention the original Knight Rider ... just the movie in production. But Baywatch ... c'mon -- that was crappy even BEFORE it came out. It's only saving grace was the ladies.

or was it all the running in slooooow motion?
he doesnt have a good voice
and the video is disturbing yet not in a gory way which makes it very enjoyablke
but i dont respect the people who had anything to do with the video, just find it enjoyable in some sense but at the same time painful...but funny, veryyyy funny

Wow.
I want to kill things now. A lot. Yet still...in some weird way i am also hooked on a feeling. I just wish i had that green screen magic David Knight....her Hasselhof has.
This is why you keep Wino's away from the wine. It's also why you keep rhino's away from poachers.
