Are You Being Logical or Emotional?

I need to work on this. (4/10)

Or in other words...whose reality? Checklists follow.
Cognitive distortion

List of cognitive biases
Appeal to consequences or Emotional reasoning - making decisions and arguments based on how you feel rather than objective reality.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_consequences
Appeal to consequences, however, does not refer to arguments that address whether a premise is a "good" or "bad" (as opposed to true or
false) based on the appeal of its consequence, which are not logical arguments but are, instead, ethical arguments.

When we look at a human perspective, it is a more social value system and its associated beliefs.Perspective (cognitive)

and/or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhetoric
or is it Methods of Persuasion
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persuasion
Critical thinking skills or dismissive is a choice. Attachments to an outcome or with expectations gets us into trouble, wars,
misunderstandings and strife. Is logic Boolean? Truth and values may be f.i.n.e. 4 one and not okay for another, but intercessor's of peace
promote love and understanding not degrees of being burned. Is Avenging a human avocation? Even for the ones graced by God? Think I'll leave
that to The 1. Even having this argument is playing into the hands of something not just or right. *sigh :( just a reflection
Then again if someone is kind enough to point out your flaws, then I consider that a favor and opportunity to grow. So thank 'em, love 'em and God Bless YOU!
It's all good, right?
muttering in a trail of irrational nonsensical tangent
phhhewwwww w2 much work :p

Oh, my... I just finished another post and was gonna dip into yours regarding logic and emotion. NOPE! too much for me right now. Too many links.. too much thinking and probably too much logic.
So I think I've arrived at an answer to your original question anyhow. :)

thinking again...when you say aero it's too much that is probably true for most, soooooooooo
opposition in thinking and perception or pov
if one does not agree with another does GroupThink take into account the persuasion of arguments against another or all other factors?
usually not 'cause it's too much work
thanks for your input
even if my conclusion is based on a logical fallacy haha
still a skim and ponder over group bias, like films such as Crash, does would make the world a sweeter place j another thought

cognitive distortion pisses me off... the thing most likely to make me speak up in a group conversation..i avoid biases too.. however.. the first thing i feel is a wave of emotion in any given situation but the logic kicks in immediately..

just another question... anyone here sat the Mensa test ? Not me. It's not that I'm afraid of failing; I'm afraid of passing. Considering the Mensa members that I've known, I wouldn't want to be numbered among them.

That's not fair or nice. What's your damage with Mensa members?

That's not fair or nice. What's your damage with Mensa members? What, exactly, was unfair or cruel about what I wrote?
