I've been following the "filmwizdaddy" saga for a few days now, and as a result, I felt the desire to read some of his old posts in an attempt to understand his motivations. I only looked at a few posts at random, but all of the ones I saw were empty one-liners that didn't add any substance or value to the forum. I still can't say that I know where he was coming from, but I can say that I strongly doubt that even he knew where he was coming from.

I wouldn't say that I'm for banning (it sounds so authoritarian), but considering the fact that he was abusive to the people who post here, I do feel that he deserves whatever he gets. This forum is chock full of thoughtful, articulate people who give me something that is worthy of a read, so if you hadn't banned him, I likely would have just learned to ignore his posts, anyway.

I don't like banning people for extended periods but shit..what can ya do? we lock him into a single forum and he just makes it worse. I'm not going to waste any time on him since he never really had anything worthwhile to say.

Maybe he got that idea because the people on the album cover in Coz's sig bear a passing resemblance to Mysterio, Master of Illusion, from the Spider-Man comic book. ;)

No complaints here! (As if my opinion matters). I do not view Hax's decision on this as a power trip; this is him doing his job. This is not filmwizdaddy having his free speech impaired; this is him being an insufferably insipid dolt.
I don't believe that he didn't have a slip of the tongue, that my dear friends was anger in a speech impediment! The talk that he was using in that hoosegow thread was not doing the board any good PM Dawn or not!

I'm all for offending others and calling people names...but I think some of those names were a big no-no! Try a little tenderness, try a little understanding, and if you simply must tear someone a new posterior orifice, at least try to be funny when doing it, mmmkay?

filmwizdaddy used to be a pretty normal pretty kool guy.. i talked with him me n be talked with him say 4 or 5 years ago.. it is quite apparent that this last 6 months this guy is not the same.. either hes had a mental breakdown or gone completely crazy or sumthins not right..i wouldnt mind hearing coz thoughts on the kind of mental illness/problems he has..cause sumthins definitely wrong..its a pity..
