lemme think...um nite in the city is a joni mitchel song that we covered for a project that warner bros. was doing about 6 years ago called a case of joni...for some strange reason there wasn't alot of responses or people that got involved but we jumped on it...then they were gonna scrape the whole thing but at the last minute the got a submission from janet jackson and decided to slap an album together at the last minute...so they went with nite in the city as the first single...they couldn't get a good enough buzz going so they canned it
