So how was it? My wife and I have considered getting that for us as well, but we're kinda wary.
Glad you're ok, though :bigthumb: :bigthumb:

I was planning to do that myself once, but I didn't want to lose the abillity of seeing things way up close that nearsightedness brings.
Feel better yo! :wavey:

Laser surgery is relatively safe.
The only thing is it's complete long term effects are still under study.
 :toetap:

Have you seen the Simpsons where they are looking into the future and Flanders is blind because he had laser eye surgery... I am sure that will not really happen though

Hope ur feeling better.
Be Lucky You can have it!!!!
I'm blind as a freaking BAT! Two years (My eye Doctor thinks hes a regular comedian) I asked what my eye site was. He laughed & said be lucky you can still see the big E on the wall. Now he won't even tell me.
I can't get mine to stablize to get it done. Here in Virginia you have to have the same eyesite for 2 years before they will even consider it.
My old office manager had it & loved it. I would ADORE not having to deal with Contacts & glasses anymore....
hey lisa...thanx for the heads up...and right you are...i am damn lucky because just 15 years ago people just went blind from the condition i have...in fact ..had i not had the surgry...in 4-6 months i would not have been able to look at pretty gyrls anymore...i need something like 900 shots in each eye which they're doing 300 shots per session..so i got what 4 more time then i done...but it doesn't hurt at all actually...it just feels really strange.....REALLY strange

yeah, I'm told it only gets worse for me. Stupid Diabetes runs rampant in my family & i'm border line so why I can't get a stable site for 2years.
hmm, they say its really strange. Another woman had to have Eye surgery done because she busted a blood vessel they couldn't just wait to heal because she would go blind. She's on an insulin pump, etc, so I feel for ya hon.
Its GOT to be a strange feeling and chilling up your big caterax glasses they give you to wear. but i"m glad its working so far

Good to hear all is well Be. Dealing with any surgery can be tough. I can only imagine with eye surgury. My sister went and did it and had no problems and healed real quick. I hope the same for you.
