O.k. you touched on the subject of hate in your post in "beastie boys."
Can you understand the feeling you get when you walk into a store and everyone looks and waits for the alarm to go off when you walk out?
How many times have YOU been stopped walking down the street, by the cops and told you "Fit the Description"?
Been pulled over and told your car was "Too Nice for your neighborhood'?
Refused service on skin color alone?
Had a person ride past you and yell " Hey N*gger!!" out the window?
Been attacked, spit on, or belittled in any way for you heritage?
Listened to your 90 year old grandmother speak about having to enter the back door to her job because the front was for "Whites only"
Or watched and cried as she cried and screamed when some unexpected visitors pulled into the driveway and she thinks it is the klan from one of her childhood memories returned to take her?
It doesn't give you licence to hate, but it will influence your view on
this country and the people in it.

Cops later say that he fit a description...(he was black, it was dark, who could've missed him?)

Where was that from?
I saw one of my Best friends get killed by the cops in a botched gang raid. The "new" members of our neighborhood
(happen to be white.) saw that my friend Atiba had alot of traffic
coming to his house. They immediately ASSUMED gang activity.
(Even though NOONE in my neighborhood had EVER been shot, shot at
or killed until this incident.) they reported this to the police instead
of speaking to Atiba's Mother about the specifics of who was visiting her house.
One day after we returned from playing football on the golf course,
we returned to Atibas house and went into the basement
to play video games. (super nintendo, sega cd)
Things all of a sudden got crazy. Windows breaking, tear gas,
and riot gear cops runnin' around grabbin' folks.
Ike ( the victim) was the youngest of us and the most scared.
he was runnind around trying to get out and he wouldn't stop.
He took two shots from a automatic rifle, and went down still trying to run. He died before the ambulance could respond.
After we were all Id'd and were reckognized as non-gang members,
the cops apologized, but would not go on record as having botched the raid. The neighbors moved promptly there after.
All of us hated cops for a LONG time. We hated White people
too. It was misdirected, and some of us never got over it.
I did. Hate is something that can be contagious.

Ive seen hate like that translated into many forms ...
in the street im in now.. ive got bastard in red paint across my backdoor , had my back fence knocked down, left my car parked at end of street for two hours while tow truck was comin 2 take it.. it got smashed and bashed in..rocks at my windows , abuse in the street simply cause the local gangs of punk kids know im foreign but they havent actually realised im aussie yet i think they think im american.. at my high school it was because my best mate was filipino, or cause to the redneck guys i was 2 well spoken .. and when i became friends with 6 papuan guys (native students from papua new guinea who finished school in Oz) i got the looks from some of the other papuan guys who didnt mind going 2 school with white guys as long as we didnt hang with any of em .. i could understand the insults behind my back tho cause they didnt know i could speak pidgin english, it comes in all forms wherever you go , i am lucky ive never specifically had the look where ive been suspected of something purely because of the way i look , or my race or attire..

KD you are right I have never had anything like that in my life.It kills me to think people had to and still do live like that... on a way smaller level being a white kid working in hip hop I get no respect what so ever and plenty of racial slurs are thrown in my direction all the time, but that is just work that is not my everyday life. People learn to hate from the things that happen in these situations.
Hating is the easiest thing to do. Someone calls you a name, it's twice as hard to say " Whatever, I love you anyway" than it is "Fuck you
I'll tear out your spleen!" Some people don't ever get over the things that happen or the words that were spoken, and they let hate fester.
Having those types of situations, happen can skew a persons view BADLY.

underlying problems. Diverticulitis, is REAL bad. if you hemorrhage,
you could end up with peritonitis, and surgery.
