Nah, it's not a vocoder, its an effects unit. I wouldn't trust it.

actually the zoom units have good vocoders in them, but that's about the only decent thing you'll get out of it.

i just use prosoniq orange vocoder, probably the best soft vocoder for pc. which i could upload for you if you'd like

ok, check your folder on the ftp. keep in mind this is a VST plugin, so you'll need to get and run a host application capable of running VST plugins/instruments. I'd recommend Cubase 5, Wavelab 4, or even fruity loops 3.4. Cubase is an all out sequencer, something you'll eventually want to learn to use anyway, wavelab is a wav editor, and fruity loops is another kind of sequencer/sampler.

The best place i can think of to find those applications would be to download a small program called "soulseek". It's a meeting ground for a lot of electronic musicians, and it functions as a napster-style trading program, specifically for trading electronic music. however, if you search for any of those programs, you'll surely come across them with no problem. Let me know if you have any problems or questions on running any of the software, it can be very confusing and seemingly complex at first.
