...I landed a small network upgrade job at a fairly large hospital/assisted living center and when we were looking over the job last week we were in the server room with the company administrator (not a server admin) we walked in to see a massive patch area for the phone system, the phone system itself and a couple Unix servers with fiber links to two nearby buildings. When we walked in I saw aluminum sheets on the ceiling and was told that it was done to protect against water damage as there were many pipes going over the outside of the room, so I look up and see a nice little hole cut where the fire sprinkler was sticking through and I was thinking WTF...then he noticed it and was like humm we better get that removed.
People amaze me sometimes, anyway I was there today and looked up at it again and started laughing for some reason. I guess I'll get a pic the next time I'm up there.
