man.. that's some fucked up shit :poke:

you should try sampling stuff just as a change of pace, its fun to compose things with the different instruments in reason, but its cool to also scavenge old songs for catchy bits and then try to make something new out of them. though you'd need some kind of basic wav editor to edit samples... let me know if you dont have one & you'd like one, i can hook you up.

wav files are the standard, or aiff if you're on a mac. you can also load some other special sorts of files, like soundfont format files and rex files (files edited and exported with the ReCycle program).

of course you can also load patches, like full sample sets, etc. you can even load akai samples if you have akai sample cds, though you need a little convertor tool.
