speaking of time stretching, the new waves dx/vst pack has the absolute best timestretching ever, period! i'm not kidding--its so much better than anything else out there, practically artifact free time manipulation..

i matched the bpms.. so what do i have 2 do now? and what program do i need?

timestretching is just changing the bpm of something without altering its pitch, or alternately you can change the pitch of something without altering the bpm. or obviously, you can adjust the pitch and bpm however you want.

this is opposed to slowing or speeding something up for it to be a particular bpm, which would then naturally either lower or raise the pitch.

i haven't checked the mp3 yet, so i dunno what exactly frek was referring to in your track...

but timestretching is a pretty indespensible tool when working with samples
