what a pathetic attempt at a cover!! sing the song with some passion guys please!! like prince be did!1 its a pedestrian attempt to cover a classic..sure the guitars a nice touch i like that..but brandy and ray j put nothing in2 the singing of the lyrics..im disappointed!! :cuss:

okay take 3..u gotta give em credit for not just re-doing the song but putting their own imprint on it..i like the way they flipped the chorus..the song certainly doesnt have the same emotion in it as the original..but its an interesting take on id die without you :peace:

Well, Hierohero, I personally haven't heard the song, but that was only because i didn't know it existed until now. I would love to hear it so that i could give you my two cents. Is it on her new album? How can i hear it?

Ok... it started and I'm thinking... "what have they done?" It goes on a little further and the vocals were pretty good. I like the way brandy sings in the song, I'm not sure how much I like her brothers voice. The one thing that really caught my attention in the song is that they didn't change too many lyrics. I'm pretty sure they changed some but most of them were left alone. That, I admire... It shows a great deal of respect to the original author (imho). The song is somewhat more up-beat and like hiero, i like the guitars... badass. When I listen to it a few more times i'll post something else. :moon:
