I am sooooooo tired of school. It is tiresome. Some of my freakin classes are piled with absolutely shit and I have no time to do anything else. Any one feel me??????? I am sure someone in here does. Lets put it this way, I haven't been out in a long time, need a vacation!!!!!!!
my man.............for real...............thank you..............it's now 12:30 pm and i just got home from skool and the only reason i left was because the library closed, and this is all after a full day of work in the morning and i'll still be up for a few hours doing more homework, then i start skool tommorrow at 9:30 am then go straight to work until 9:00 pm then do homework into the am, then the following day (well you get the idea).............full time skool and full time work (especially in retail during the holidays) IS FUKKIN STRESSING ME THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!

Been there. Done that. Bought the T-shirt. It could be a lot worse man, you could be out working for a living for the next 30+ years!

I totally feel you guys- not too much worse than busting your ass 24/7 for 9 months out of the year so you can pay more money to do it the next year. One semester I almost flipped man- I seriously almost went insane. I wish I had had the money to live on campus and party like most of the other kids . . .

On the real, don't sweat the small stuff Dark Sun. Those other party animal kids are future alcoholics in training (or as Be would probably say it, alcoholics in utero). And I bet if you checked most of their grades, you would find little to be envious of.
Nothing truly worthwhile ever came easy. Educating himself is one of the most enpowering things a man can do. So hang in there. Remember, your worst day at school is better than your best day at work (unless that workday is payday $$$).

All too true, but many people are tortured and depressed throughout their school years.

LOUIS I FIND IT BETTER TO TEACH YOURSELF THAN TO BE TAUGHT BY OTHERS......
[No offense meant by the next question]
But what if you're an idiot? :cool2:
No seriously though, self-teaching is fine too. It can have the same effect that being taught by someone else does. Educating yourself is educating yourself, doesn't necessarily matter how. Whatever works best for you.

All too true, but many people are tortured and depressed throughout their school years.
And is that because of the educating and learning process or other "stuff?"
How would those feel if you took all the other bullshit away from the learning process?

No, I think you're missing my drift. School...especially high school, is filled with other stuff, and some people have a very hard time with it. Regardless of what you may be learning, if people are constantly harrassing you, picking on you, beating you down...etc., then school can be a not so very nice place to be. Kinda makes you wanna come up to the school with an AK and killl all the mutha fukkas, ya know?
"Well, he was kinda quiet and wierd...he always kept to himself..." that shit will mean more often than not that that individual was having a tortuous high school experience.
So the statement that "my worst day at the job was better than my best day at school" can be quite common.
AND...for ya'll information...my life as a thug was extremely short, at most 3 or 4 episodes...I never stick with sumthin if I aint feelin it...and I ain't never tried to kill sumbody with a baseball bat either...heheheh

I got you. But when I think of school, I think of learning and the quest for knowledge in the truest sense. I don't associate school with the all the unpleasantries of "growing up". We could talk about high school or grade school or undergraduate school or home school or graduate school. Life carries a bunch of "shit" with it in everything positive. But educating yourself is one of the most enpowering things you can do for yourself (I am starting to repeat myself like my senile Uncle Edgar!) More to the point: Your day at the job may or may not have advanced you as a person mentally (most cases not) your day at school definitely did. Dig me?
